The Chicago Muscle beat the St.Louis Phoenix 128-118 tonight in Palatine,Illinois. The Muscle never trailed in the game and got a season high scoring night from Darius Gant with 30 points and 10 rebounds.Marcel Anderson contributed 28 points along with Casey Love scoring 17 points. Chicago outrebounded the Phoenix 58-47. Corey Hill lead the Phoenix with 26 points.
Chicago will play the Central Illinois Drive twice this week with the first matchup Thursday February 23 at Harper College in Palatine at 7:05pm followed by a game with the Drive in the Wisconsin Dells at 5pm Saturday February 25.
Monday’s win for the Muscle moves them into a tie for second in the Central Conference with Sauk Valley at 6-4, while Central Illinois remains undefeated.
